Clients and prospective clients. When you enquire about our services, or engage us, we create a record that includes personal information. What we collect varies with the circumstances and the service requested, but usually covers:
- ●your name, email address, postal address and other contact details;
- ●information about your financial position, employment, or the organisation you represent;
- ●your professional background; and
- ●any further information you give us, or authorise us to obtain, in the course of dealing with us.
Applicants for roles with us. When recruiting, we collect details such as your name, contact details, qualifications and work history — usually directly from you, and sometimes from sources you would expect, such as recruiters or referees you have nominated. Before making an offer we may need additional information, including tax file and superannuation details and information required for background checks.
Other individuals. We also handle personal information about people who are not clients: representatives and staff of clients and partners, attendees at events we are involved in, contractors, suppliers, and others who deal with us commercially. What we collect depends on the capacity in which you deal with us, and generally mirrors the list above.
Where we host or take part in an event, we may capture photographs or audio-visual recordings in which you can be identified.
Occasionally we may collect sensitive information — for example, health information if you are injured at an event we are involved in, whether in an emergency or with your consent.
You may always decline to provide the information we ask for. If you do, we may not be able to provide some or all of the services you have requested. If you have concerns about a particular request, please raise them with us.
